One effective method to promote or market your affiliate products is through blogging. For those who already have experience in this area, blogger.com is a great platform for a newbie as it is extremely easy and clean to use. In addition, blogger.com is great for PPC marketing as it can be your way to gauge and test how your market reacts. With the right dose of effort, one can earn a fairly decent profit from this method.

However, if you are a fairly new in affiliate marketing, you can try using WordPress to start you off in the right direction. Here are few things you need to remember before you set up an account in WordPress.

First, do not make WordPress as your primary site as doing that will only result to spammers targeting your main webpage. Only use WordPress to promote your actual site. Leave as many comments as you can in WordPress and that means that you should not be limited to making comments on your own niche. Leave comments in populated blog pages and pretty soon you will have a lot of back links. Lastly, remember that promotional tactics or marketing strategies are only effective if you consistently allot time and effort into making not just one but 10 to 15 articles a day. This will make your WordPress site grow and will create more traffic and interest so that more readers will visit your main page.

NicheOnDemand Not Accepting New Orders For July 2009.

First off, I just want to say thank you on behalf of the NOD team for the awesome projects we’ve been able to work on with many of you. The business has grown by 300% over the last 3 months, and in light of keeping the level of quality up to par, I’ve decided to pause our services for the month of July and indefinitely.

Are we going out of business?

Absolutely not! We’re just booked up to our necks in niche website packages and have already acquired enough work to last us for the next 2 months! Honestly, it is a priority right now to increase our man power and step our game up. Along side the growth of NOD, there are also a few start ups that are getting ready to launch – which means they will require some serious man hours over the next few weeks.

I mean within a single week I met a Broadcast Journalist form New York, a workforce mom from New Jersey and a work at home dad from Hamilton, Ontario (which is only about an hour or so from my place in Toronto).

NicheOnDemand Update

Well, the last few weeks have been absolutely insane! Aside from maintaining my regular business activities like site flipping, music production and affiliate marketing – I’ve also been working night and day on the back (and front) end of NicheOnDemand.com in preparation for it’s official launch in late February/early March. It’s been quite a journey, and there are still a handful of things left to do – with the main task being shopping cart/payment integration.

I’ve been bouncing around on e-junkie.com for a while and so far they seem to provide the best bang for your buck. I’ve heard many good things about their service which definitely makes the decision process easier – and being able to host up to 10 digital products for $5 per month is not that bad either!

Here’s what’s left to do on NOD:

Payment processing integration for niche package and article orders
Affiliate program integration – hopefully within the same set up
Configure right and left sidebars within the post/page areas of the site
Create FAQ section for the main index
Eventually create some sort of support/tutorial forum
Finish setting up Aweber stuff
Create content for 3 Day Niche Marketing Crash Course (it’s going to be awesome!)
Add some tutorial based posts to blog section for bookmark submission and traffic
Link building, keyword research and press release stuff

As you can see there is still a ton of areas which need to be completed, but as it stands now we’re getting closer and closer everyday. This has definitely been an experience that I will never forget – and one that I hopefully don’t have to do again for a long while.

I’m taking a much deserved break this weekend and heading north of Toronto to a friends cottage. When I arrive I will indulge in some much needed Xbox 360, single malt scotch and a slew of Christopher Walken quotes with some of my closest friends – Wasaga Beach here I come!
